    Kim Herivel

    Kim Herivel

    Kim Herivel

Kim has always enjoyed trying different forms of dance; starting with jazz and tap classes from three years old, with a little bit of Rockabilly and line-dancing thrown in.

As an adult, Kim took a PoleFit Intro course that Studio Verve offered through her gym, before joining the studio in 2007.

Moving overseas and work commitments meant that Kim stopped pole dancing for a time, but she re-started at Studio Verve in 2012. Kim finally braved the stage at the Studio Verve Open Night in August 2015 with some fellow lyrical students, before being part of a group lyrical performance at the Studio Verve Student Showcase ‘Polarity’ in November 2015.

She is excited to be taking the next step in her pole journey by performing as a soloist in UNBOUND.

      Kristina Binks

Kristina has been pole dancing for 3 years in Western Australia and has recently relocated to New South Wales. Despite not having a background in dance or gymnastics she found herself picking up new skills in every class she attended and fell in love with the feeling of achievement that pole brings.

No stranger to the stage, she has performed in many amateur productions and enjoys the creative process involved in coming up with new ideas that will entertain the audience.

Pole dancing is her passion and has helped her to love her body for what it can do and not what it looks like. She has experienced an incredible boost in her self-esteem and confidence through pole and is determined to constantly improve her skills. She has been fortunate enough to participate in workshops with Marion Crampe, Lou Landers, Joanna Littlewood-Johnson (who was a featured artist in Pole Evolution: Elements 2014), Bendy Kate and Andrea Ryff.

Kristina enjoys the constant pursuit for greater strength and flexibility that is unique to pole dancing and is looking forward to wherever her pole journey may take her!

Kiah has been a dancer and performer her entire life. Beginning with ballet, jazz and tap classes at the age of 3, she continued formal dance training until the age of 16.

Her desire to perform and dance continued through high school and it was during this that she was a Junior Wests Tigers cheerleader, performing for stadium crowds on a weekly basis. In 2013 Kiah began taking pole classes as an alternative to traditional dance. She is currently a pole instructor at Studio Verve and in 2015 performed in Polarity as both a soloist and in a group routine.

Prior to discovering pole dancing, Cynthia had no background in dance; her main form of exercise was distance running. She decided to try pole dancing in 2011 after seeing a flyer for a local studio in Cairns, QLD. In 2012 she returned to Sydney and began classes at Suzie Q Pole Studio, and since then has attended classes at many different studios with the goal of learning from a variety of instructors.

Following this success, she was cast as a dancer in Pole Evolution’s ‘ELEMENTS’ production in October. In 2015, she opened her own pole dance studio, Transition Pole Dance Studio, in Mudgee, qualified as a national finalist for Pole and Aerial Rising Stars, and placed 1strunner up at the NSW Pole Dance Championships which led to her qualifying as a national finalist for the Australian Pole Championships.

She has also performed at Encore! and Pandemonium: Jungle Fever and has recently been selected as a Finalist in the Semi-Professional category for Pole Theatre.

We are thrilled to welcome Cynthia back to the Pole Evolution stage this October.
